The project uses a central location with local churches providing teams of volunteers; each church taking responsibility for a different night.
There is a dedicated coordinator for the project as well as assistance from Street Pastors.
Camp beds, duvets and pillows are provided to give a warm and comfortable place to sleep.
A hot evening meal is served; various activities are on offer for the guests; TV, games, books etc.
Toilet and washing facilities are provided.
Guest lists of verified rough sleepers are supplied daily by the St Mungo’s outreach team.
All volunteers undergo training to ensure the safety of all involved.
Health and housing teams visit to offer support to guests plus CGL (Change, Grow, Live) also visit.
