  • Malcolm Peirce

    Communications Officer

    Malcolm was Director of the Charity from 2005 to 2023.

    He is currently our Communications Officer.

    Malcolm is a member of LifeSpring Church.

  • Sarah Mawby

    Office Coordinator

    Sarah is responsible for the everyday administration of the charity office, including HR and project support.

    She also oversees A Bed For a Night project as well as being our safeguarding officer

    Sarah is a member of St Lawrence Church.

  • Alison Peyton

    Foodbank Manager

    Alison joined us in 2011 and as Food Bank Manager she is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the ReadiFood warehouse; parcel deliveries; volunteers and corporate teams.

    Alison is a member of St. John’s and St Stephen’s Church.

  • Sarah Pedlow

    Readifood Volunteer and J2W Project Coordinator

    Sarah looks after all our ReadiFood volunteers as well as running our Journey 2 Work project.

    Sarah is a member of Greyfriars Church.

    Readifood Administrator

    Sarah handles all referrals for the foodbank as well as supporting the wider work of the project.

  • Alison Pomeroy

    Reading Pantries Coordinator

    Alison started with us in 2023 as we began the Coley Park Pantry, which she leads.

    She also oversees right across our pantry network.

    Alison is a member of Coley Park Baptist Church.

    Norcot Pantry Coordinator

    Margaret leads the Norcot Pantry, managing food stocks and volunteers.

    She began working with us in March 2022.

    Margaret is a member of Carey Baptist Church.

  • Louise Cross

    Pavilion Pantry Coordinator

    After leading our night shelter project, a Bed for the Night, for three years, Louise is now responsible for the Pavilion Pantry.

    Louise is a member of LifeSpring Church.

  • Karen Loizou

    Reading Pantries Support Worker

    Karen leads the Southcote Pantry and helps with the support of running and developing our Pantry Network.

    Karen is a member of Reading Family Church.

  • Wendy Harris

    ReadiStreet Coordinator

    Wendy is responsible for our Soup Runs and Tea Bar as the ReadiStreet co-ordinator.

    She looks after our food handouts for the homeless.

    Wendy is a member of All Nations Church.

  • James Mawby

    Support Worker

    James works across the charity in all respects of our work.

    He runs our outreach at CiRDiC on a Thursday and looks after maintenance at our warehouse and offices.

    James also supports some of our clients one to one.

    He joined us in 2021 and is a member of St Laurence Church.
